Johann Sebastian Bach, perhaps the greatest composer of them all, at least when you ask many musicians. The inauguration and first concert ever of the new festival Princeton ChamberFest will celebrate this incrtedible composer.
A favorite among the musicians in the series, cellist Robin Park, returns to play the popular Suite for solo cello in G major, and Per Tengstrand will play a piano version of the monumental Chaconne in d minor.

Franz Schubert lived an all too short life, but in these few years on earth he wrote music that immortalized him.
His favorite instrument was the viola, and violist Katie Liu will show us why in the beautiful “Arpeggione Sonata”.
The phenomenal violinist Julia Hwang makes her series debut and is joined by Per Tengstrand and Robin Park in Schubert’s incredible second Piano Trio, one of the greatest chamber music works ever composed.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the ultimate musical genius. One of his greatest and most beloved works is the Sinfonia Concertante for two soloists, violin and viola (his favorite instrument).
Did you know that he wrote a version for sextet? This version you will be hearing with the six phenomenal musicians in this Festival Finale, which will also include the famous variations from Schubert’s Trout Quintet and more!
